Dear June

  • If you have a clothesline, listen up! If not, then invest in one!!! Did you know that line drying your clothes not only saves quite a bit of energy costs in your utility bill, but it also prolongs the life of the fabrics in your clothing and linens? AND sunshine is a wonderful, natural whitener and brightener! To keep clothes soft when line drying, simply add a cup of white vinegar to the rinse cycle... the scent dissipates in the air, and your laundry is naturally brightened and disinfected as well as softer!

I have a question. If we do not have a blog how will they know what we like? Should we just kinda tell you when we give you our address and such?

That would work! If you want to take part in the swap but don't have a blog (not a requirement, anyway!) simply let me know in your email if you prefer retro, vintage, traditional, contemporary, eclectic etc...decor in your kitchen. I'll make a note of it next to your name and address info for your partner. You can even include a color scheme preference if you like, but I'm hoping that a surprise selection will be fun for all, too!

That sounds great. I would like to join your swap.
Unfortunately I have no blog to give you an impression of my
    favorite styles or craftiness.
    Therefore:
I love all things vintage (especially Cowboys, bucking horses and such - I know I am a silly little nitwit) but every other style is also welcome.

Sign me up. I don't have a blog either. I guess my kitchen is contemporary with red accents, but I'm not picky. What a fun idea.

Just found your blog yesterday, but the swap sounds like a marvelous idea. Count me in!

This sounds like fun, I still haven't got round to starting my blog (it's on my to do list!!)
I love anything vintage style in pink with flowers or just anything pretty, as the mum to 4 boys I need something girly.

Your green bean and bacon casserole snudos mouthwatering. I just happened to pick up some french fried onions at a store which stocks things from North America the other day so perfect timing! (I can't get french fried onions here in England except in speciality stores!) I've posted the recipe for my Aunt Dorothy's Butterscotch squares. They are really yummy! Thanks so much for hosting.
